ProxyFox helps you easily manage proxy servers, quickly switch network environments, and improve browsing efficiency and security
ProxyFox supports multiple proxy types, including HTTP, HTTPS, SOCKS4, and SOCKS5 proxies. You can choose the appropriate proxy type based on your needs.
ProxyFox supports multiple whitelist rule formats:
- Domain format:
example.com- Matches the entire domain and its subdomains - Subdomain format:
*.example.com- Matches all subdomains - IP address:
192.168.1.1- Matches specific IPs - IP range:
192.168.1.1/24- Matches IP ranges - IPv6 address:
2001:db8::- Supports IPv6 format
When using HTTPS proxies, Chrome will validate untrusted certificates. If you encounter certificate warnings, you need to manually add exceptions in Chrome settings:
- Type in the address bar:
chrome://flags/#allow-insecure-localhost - Set this option to "Enabled"
- Restart the browser
For certain specific sites, you can also temporarily accept certificates by clicking "Advanced" and then "Proceed".
In the ProxyFox settings page, you can:
- Click the "Export" button to export all current proxy configurations and global whitelist as a JSON file
- On other devices, click the "Import" button and select the previously exported JSON file
- All configurations will be imported to the new device
Note: The import operation will overwrite all current configurations, so please proceed with caution.
Currently, ProxyFox does not support rule-based automatic proxy switching. You need to manually switch between different proxy configurations. However, by setting reasonable whitelist rules, you can achieve automatic direct access for specific websites, improving the convenience of use.
